Heather Berman was given a booster shot for tetanus and “forced into early retirement” after a cut from a shard of glass brought her into urgent care. Her research into holistic health failed to educate her on the topic of vaccination, so she wasn’t empowered to advocate for herself at that clinic. “That week, I was feeling numb,” Heather illustrates to CHD.TV viewers. “And my legs weren't working as I was trying to walk.” After a career as a dancer, actor and singer, this sudden change in her physical health came as a shock.
