What does Stephanie mean when she says, “We didn’t know any better”? Her son was immunized for MMR and subsequently stopped developing in his speech. The concerns Stephanie expressed to her pediatrician, when the boy turned 2, fell on deaf ears. Deeply involved in speech therapy, they ended up unintentionally delaying the other vaccines. Then came time for her daughter’s shots. Besides an adverse reaction, one of the outcomes of those injections was Stephanie’s investigation into the risks of the routine medical products.
