Hope Evans was given multiple vaccines during pregnancy — one of which, the flu shot, she was hesitant about. Told that it was “protocol” and therefore necessary for a hospital birth, she was injected. Hope’s daughter was born with tongue-tie and breastfeeding became an issue. After negative experiences with childhood immunizations, it was settled: this mother was no longer giving her baby any shots. And the 2nd time around, Hope resolved to do things differently.
