A complaint filed in early October alleges that a manufacturing facility owned by pharmaceutical giant Merck is guilty of releasing chemicals and other substances with potential carcinogenic effects on humans. It also states that Colleen Sullivan, the victim who also happened to be pregnant at the time of exposure, was never warned about these toxic substances nor directed to wear protective equipment by her higher-ups.
