This mother was compelled by her own intuition to research childhood immunizations. She started by looking up the ingredients in the next vaccine her daughter was scheduled to receive. When the time came for their kids’ shots, she and her partner began to worry about potential consequences for “going against the grain.” This prompted them to switch doctors, and they continued to make ‘unconventional’ decisions for their children’s health.
