“It was just something that everybody did” — unconcerned about the potential risks to vaccination, Amanda not only succumbed to what she remembers to be “coercion” in getting the flu shot while pregnant but also chose immunization for her eldest children. When the pediatrician’s office transitioned from physical to computerized medical records, her son’s proof of vaccination was “misplaced.” As a result, he was re-vaccinated. He was later diagnosed with Asperger's. Amanda provides her account of these events in this CHD.TV interview.
