To become a psychologist, Lara was expected to get two immunizations during her doctorate education. She “did not, at that point, even question” why she needed these shots. Although she was “fine” immediately after the fact, symptoms of multiple sclorosis began to manifest over time. Many years went by, and so did countless treatments and numerous attempts to get pregnant. Finally, Lara began recovering and did a deep-dive into the science behind her condition.
