In this interview, a first responder explains why she was hesitant to get the COVID shots. At the beginning of the rollout, she was administering the injections. Concerned that her state of illness would contribute to an adverse event, she personally opted out. Once the mandate dropped, she took a stand: “I couldn’t be a part of that.
