COVID shots were being “heavily promoted” in the hospital, according to Dedra Long. She decided to pursue a different career but was met with the same sort of pressure at the next employer. So, she caved and got two injections. “Bed-ridden for almost a year,” on medications to daily mitigate “15 to 30 mini-seizures,” struggling with speech — life may never be the same for Dedra and her family because of that decision.
