Diagnosed with allergy-induced asthma, Sara went through several months of daily nebulizer treatments “just to breathe.” At age 17, she got immunized with HPV to protect herself against cervical cancer. Afterwards, she remembers a cold, numb feeling radiating from her arm to the rest of the body: “It felt ice-cold.
