“It’s very important for any elected official, regardless [of] the kind of office that he or she is holding, to keep in mind that [they were] elected by the people and should be elected for the people … not for lobbyist groups, not for executive power or branches of the government, but for the people.” stressed MEP @CristianTerhes.
“During the pandemic, a lot of elected officials failed to do their job and to defend the rights of citizens,” he expressed.
“When it comes to fundamental rights, to liberties, to freedoms, that’s not negotiable.”
